Country & Chic
Ceremony, Reception and Accommodation
Minimum 2 Nights
VENUE
A splendid 800-hectare estate in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, which not only includes fields of wheat, vineyards and olive groves, but also is home to a hunting reserve, where pheasants, deer and wild boar roam freely, in addition to a stud farm and a federal equestrian center.
The medieval hamlet, which dominates the estate, affords a unique view of the unmistakable Val d’Orcia countryside with its deep badlands and white “biancane” land formations. There is a consecrated church, a delightful XI century villa with Italian garden as well as other stone farmhouses, all restored using original material faithful to the original design in the tiny village, which also features a big convention hall and two swimming pools.
CEREMONY
Religious ceremonies can be celebrated in the village church. Civil ceremonies can be held in nearby city halls (15km). Symbolic ceremonies can be celebrated in the hamlet choosing from the various evocative settings all with a view of the beautiful hills of the Val d’Orcia.
RECEPTION
The reception can take place outside near the swimming pool with a view or in the unique square of the hamlet. In case of bad weather, there is a convention center, which can seat up to 80 guests.
The village also has its own catering service with local cooks who are experts in Tuscan cuisine and a zero-miles menu: fresh vegetables grown right in the garden, meat from the farm, and wild game from the hunting reserve. By request (and for groups above 60 guests), an external catering service can be brought in.
Maximum number of guests outside: 120
Maximum number of guests inside: 60 in the same room, 80 in two adjoining rooms
Music & dancing: Outside and inside
ACCOMMODATION
The main villa and eight farm homes on the estate have 24 rooms for a total of about 48-50 guests. Entirely restored, the farmhouses ooze an authentic country atmosphere with grand fireplaces, wooden beams, original flooring and hunting trophies. In the old villa, which has three floors, there are great rooms with fireplaces and elegant suites with four-poster beds and antique furniture.
PERKS
The estate has many activities to offer: walks or horseback rides through the surrounding flora and fauna, wine tastings, cooking lessons, and excursions to nearby towns.
